We’ve been a Thrift Store fixture in Hartford for 65
years...over 40 of them at our current location on Park Road. We love being a
go-to store for those who love the thrill of the Thrifting hunt! With donations
coming in all the time, we carry a constantly changing selection of upscale
“experienced” clothing, accessories and home goods. Savvy shoppers stop in
regularly to hunt through our stock for standout pieces, wardrobe staples and
solid values. You never know what you’ll find!
Every time you stop in at the Clothes Horse, you can feel
good knowing that your purchases and donations support the Junior League of
Hartford, so that League members can design and operate projects that directly
benefit greater Hartford. Through the years, Clothes Horse proceeds have
supported League projects that addressed teen pregnancy, early childhood
immunizations, music and art in schools, child abuse/neglect, and hunger, among
others. The League’s current project focus is the alleviation of hunger in
Hartford.
