Our Jean Boutique

We are beyond excited to write our very first blog post! The Clothes Horse store has been around and involved in the West Hartford community for 65 years due to the ladies of The Junior League. In June we took part in Celebrate! West Hartford - a local festival that brings many artisans, merchants, restaurants, and non-profits together for a day of family fun.

We decided to turn our annual booth into a "Jean Boutique". Denim is a staple wardrobe item with classic appeal, but currently it's hotter than it has ever been and can be worn any way you desire. The jean can be worn long and straight or loose and torn. There are no restrictions on how you wear your denim - denim shirts, jean jackets, overalls and even the canadian tuxedo (denim on denim). Hello, 90's!

Our entire booth was filled with both designer and everyday jeans, shorts, skirts and shirts. We added a few eye-catching accessories, fantastic shoes, and drool-worthy purses. Needless to say, the "Jean Boutique" was a success.
